Dorsington is a peaceful village conveniently located on the border of South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds. Just 7 miles to the North East is Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. The historic town is home to many fascinating attractions including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, as well as a good range of shops, restaurants and cafés. Ragley Hall & Gardens is 8 miles away and well worth a visit. To the south are countless Cotswold villages and market towns waiting to be discovered including Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton on the Water.

  • The Royal Shakespeare Theatre performs a wide programme of works throughout the year from Shakespeare’s classics to the latest modern plays.
  • Visit Hidcote to experience one the country’s best Arts and Crafts gardens.
  • 15 minutes’ drive away is Stratford Racecourse one of the country’s leading small jumps racecourses.
  • A little further afield are the classic spa towns of Cheltenham and Leamington Spa, as well as medieval Warwick famed for iconic Warwick Castle, dating back to 1068.
  • Mainline rail services run to Honeybourne railway station from London Paddington which takes approximately 1¾ hours.
