Grove Farm House & Black Swan Barn
Grove Farm is made up of Grove Farm House and Black Swan Barn. Black Swan Barn sits behind the Farm House and both properties together sleep 16 guests. These very special houses make a wonderful base for a family gathering. The renovations to the properties have been sympathetically done to keep a lot of the features such as the inglenook fireplaces and exposed beams. However, each property is very well equipped and provides the modern touches to make your stay very relaxing and comfortable. There are large open-plan living spaces in each property and enough space in the dining areas to seat all your guests.
Whilst Grove Farm House is a traditional Suffolk farm house, Black Swan Barn is a contemporary build far removed from your average barn conversion. It doesn't have net curtains or blinds at every window as the vast majority of the property isn't overlooked and so benefits from natural light and views over the garden. Some of the walls appear unfinished but it's a trick of the light between absolute white and setting plaster by Farrow & Ball which compliment the natural colours of the bleached oak flooring. There are walls of polished concrete too which enhance that contemporary feel.
Besides the beautiful houses there are large gardens and a field to explore. You might be lucky and see some deer at the back of Black Swan Barn or hear an owl.
It is possible to book each property separately, Grove Farm House sleeps 10 guests while Black Swan Barn sleeps 6 guests.

Please note that whilst it is possible to bring a dog to stay at Grove Farm House, it is not allowed inside Black Swan Barn (Small additional charge to bring your dog).
High chair and cot available, please bring your own linen for the cot.
There are three steps up from the living area to two of the bedrooms in Black Swan Barn.
