Nestled in to the heart of the small hamlet of Treknow, situated on the famous Gold Coastal path, just a few minutes away from the beautiful Trebarwith Strand and close by to the village of Tintagel, this beautifully presented property is steeped in myths and legends of King Arthur and dragons.
Martha's Harbour is a truly spectacular, traditional Cornish cottage, tastefully designed in a contemporary and 'New England' style, with high beam ceilings and light and airy rooms throughout. Step in from the enclosed courtyard to the large entrance lobby, perfect to store your boots and coats after a long day of walking the beautiful coastal paths nearby, and carry on through where you will find the ground floor bedrooms and the family bathroom. The first bedroom (bedroom two) is a spacious twin room; and bedroom three provides a king-size bed, both with plantation shutters installed with your relaxation in mind; the owner really has thought of everything.
The hallway continues to lead through to the beautiful and spacious open-plan living area where you will find the stylish, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and top of the range appliances, including an American style fridge/freezer, double electric oven and of course, the all-essential dishwasher. The cosy living area has views out to the garden and boasts three comfortable sofas all surrounding a large coffee table, a Smart television and decorative wood burning stove. From here you will find the dining area, the perfect spot after a day of exploring, to sit back and enjoy a family meal and unwind by the wood burning stove.
Stairs lead up to the first floor to the tastefully designed master bedroom with a king-size, Victorian style bedstead, sloping ceilings and an en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom, one door leading from the bedroom and one leading back to the stairs.
Outside, there is an enclosed, pretty garden overlooked by the open-plan living area through large box bay windows. The garden has high walls surrounding the garden for that extra privacy, with outdoor furniture and a barbecue area, an ideal spot to catch the last of the sun and al fresco dining.
