Steppes by name, steps by nature, this incredible 6 bedroom property that sleeps 13 guests enjoys the most spectacular of views up and down the River Dart, reaching as far out as the mouth of the estuary.

This Stylish, spacious and family friendly property is accessed via a number steps that lead down to the river from the road above. Once inside you are treated to the most incredible views. Outside there is ample space to enjoy along with the ‘boathouse’, sleeping 5 more guests and available on request. The property is also centrally positioned meaning town is just a 2 min walk away.

With an open plan living area, the sliding glass doors open onto a sunny rear balcony and beautiful river views with Kingswear just across the water and accessed by the local passenger ferry. This is waterside living at its absolute best!

Start the day sipping coffee from one of the balconies, to family barbecues in the astroturfed garden below, or just lazy afternoons sunbathing. Steppes is directly on the waters edge and less than a 2 minute walk into central Dartmouth which boasts some fantastic bars, restaurants, shops and parks.

The main house sleeps a total of 13 with beds divided as follows and all come complete with good quality bed linen and towels:
3 x Superking
1 x King
1 x Double
3 x Singles (Cabin styled beds)

There are 2 x bathrooms with showers, 1 also has a bath and there are 2 separate toilets.

A separate snug can also be found underneath the main lounge area meaning there is plenty of room too spread yourselves out. This also opens up onto a grand decking area complete with outdoor furniture.

Additional to the main house is ‘The Boathouse’ which sleeps 5 more guests and divides as:
1 x Double
1 x Double and single bunk (3 in total)
These also come with good quality bed linen and towels.

The Boathouse accommodation also has a small but functional kitchen and bathroom with shower.

Although the property is located right on the river, there is no boat available to use and we advise that the property isn’t suitable for young children due to the proximity of the waters edge.

We advise that on arrival, you drop off luggage and then park the car, the best option for the majority of the year being the Park and ride at the top of the town. Additional details can be provided on booking/request.

All in all, Steppes provides waterside living at its best but being centrally located means that you can easily walk into town, leaving the car behind for the entire duration of your stay!
