202 Norton Park ~ Dartmouth

Chalet 202 offers a modern and comfortable interior to complement the stunning valley views and tranquil surroundings. The chalet is light and airy, beautifully furnished and has two bedrooms and an additional sofa bed in the lounge. It’s situated close enough to Dartmouth to enjoy the hustle and bustle of this vibrant town but with the views and tranquillity of a country retreat.

There is a fully integrated fitted kitchen featuring a cooker/hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and storage space. The chalet is fully insulated and a wall-mounted flame effect fire in the lounge provides a focus on chilly winter days and nights and ensures the chalet is cosy when it’s cold outside.

Chalet 202 is conveniently located on the outskirts of Dartmouth and is only a five minute car journey into the town centre. A bus into town also runs straight past the Park entrance and has several services throughout the day. There is a Park & Ride less than a mile away.

Eating & Drinking ~ Dartmouth is famous for it’s award winning restaurants and bars so you’ll be sure to find something that suits everyone’s tastes. There are also tons of country pubs and seafood restaurants dotted all along the coastline that are well worth the little extra drive to find.

Places of interest ~ This lovely chalet is just a stones throw from of a number of stunning Blue Flag beaches as well as the famous Britannia Royal Naval College and historic Dartmouth Castle. If you feel like venturing further afield, the towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe are only a short drive away.

Shopping ~ Sainsbury’s and Lidl’s are two minutes away from the Park and Co-op and Marks & Spencer can be found in Dartmouth town centre. Dartmouth also has a wonderful selection of shops, galleries and boutiques as well as a market on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Things to do ~ Dartmouth Leisure Centre and the brand new Indoor Pool are just along from the Park and the Outdoor Pool is open from June to September.

Totnes has a market on Fridays and Saturdays and features a wonderful array of vintage clothes and furniture and fabulous vegan and vegetarian food. Coastal walks can be accessed from Little Dartmouth; a map can be found in the carpark and The Ham at Dittisham is located right next to the beach and has a play park for children.

The Flavel Church in Dartmouth is very friendly and opens as a coffee shop during the week and Coronation Park has a great play park as well as a café serving delicious food and ice-cream.

But… if you’d prefer to spend your day relaxing at the chalet, soaking up the peaceful atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed with the comfortable sofas, Smart TV, spacious and beautifully furnished interior and modern kitchen and bathroom. The double and twin bedrooms offer comfort and tranquility, with only the morning birdsong to wake you up.

There is lots of free parking directly outside the property.

Electricity is provided by a £1 coin meter.

Towels are not provided. Please remember to bring your own.
