The chalet is flooded with light from the large windows looking out over the park and is situated close enough to Dartmouth to enjoy the hustle and bustle of this vibrant town but with the views and tranquillity of a country retreat.
This comfortable space is perfect for a family holiday. Nestling peacefully above the historic port of Dartmouth, this lovely self-catered holiday chalet offers the perfect base to explore South Devon or to relax and unwind in the peaceful location of Norton Park.
Eating – The modern open plan kitchen and dining area is spacious and light and the surrounding views are a real highlight.The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you need and is fully integrated with fridge, microwave, toaster, oven and hob. There is a booster seat for younger children to use at the table.
Relaxing – The chalet is fully insulated with wall-mounted heaters providing a warm and cosy space to relax in on chilly winter days and nights. The sitting room has a large and comfortable corner sofa , perfect for relaxing and watching TV. There’s plenty of seating for all the family, perfect for nights in with a movie.
Sleeping – There are two lovely bedrooms, a double and a twin and also an extra z bed for larger families or groups. There is also a travel cot for younger guests. The wardrobes provide lots of storage space so you can tuck your cases away and make the place your own. Both bedrooms have lots of light and lovely views of the surrounding park.
Bathroom – The contemporary warm bathroom has a large walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Ample built-in storage throughout enables you to live an uncluttered and carefree lifestyle.
Outside – The grassy outside space is perfect for al fresco eating, sunbathing or for partaking in a glass of something special at the end of the day.
Dartmouth is famous for it’s award winning restaurants and bars so you’ll be sure to find something that suits everyone’s tastes. There are also tons of country pubs and seafood restaurants dotted all along the coastline that are well worth the little extra drive to find.
This lovely chalet is just a stones throw from of a number of stunning Blue Flag beaches as well as the famous Britannia Royal Naval College and historic Dartmouth Castle. If you feel like venturing further afield, the towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe are only a short drive away.
Sainsbury’s and Lidl’s are two minutes away from the Park and Co-op and Marks & Spencer can be found in Dartmouth town centre. Dartmouth also has a wonderful selection of shops, galleries and boutiques as well as a market on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Dartmouth Leisure Centre and the brand new Indoor Pool are just along from the Park and the Outdoor Pool is open from June to September.
Coastal walks can be accessed from Little Dartmouth; a map can be found in the carpark and The Ham at Dittisham is located right next to the beach and has a play park for children.
You will have full access to the entire property and be able to enjoy a home from home experience.
There is lots of free parking directly outside the chalet.
During your stay, we can be contacted at any time. We are 10 minutes away from the chalet so can pop in if you need us. I check my messages and emails regularly so if there's any problems I can usually resolve them very quickly.
Towels are not provided. Please remember to bring your own,
No noise past 11pm please. We have lovely neighbours so please respect their privacy.
There is a launderette in Dartmouth town centre.
"We stayed three nights and I cannot recommend the place highly enough. It had everything we needed for a short stay, the car park was very close and the views were of the rolling Devonish countryside. We were literally less than 5 minutes drive from 2 Supermarkets and the Park & Ride for Dartmouth. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook as well as a small selection of helpful key essentials (tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt/ pepper, washing liquid, etc. As a family we like to explore and stay somewhere different. In this case we'd make an exception."
